Rocking landscapes is the idea of linking landscapes together to form new landscapes – or itineraries, journeys – from images filmed here and elsewhere. Coastlines, seas and oceans, seawalls and daily life become entangled, removing any stigma and giving way to a collective imagination.
Rocking landscapes, at the Maison de Grave on the Atlantic coast, is the first stage in a work that will extend to the Coromandel coast, in Pondicherry.

The Maison de Grave in Le Verdon-sur-Mer, France, was created in the 19th century to preserve the coastline. Due to its location, it is a reference and resource site for observation and scientific research.
